Marquita believes every Tennessean should have access to affordable, high-quality healthcare, regardless of income, location, employment status, disability, or preexisting condition. Her priorities include lowering prescription-drug costs, protecting rural hospitals and community clinics, and removing barriers that prevent families from receiving timely preventive and primary care.

She also supports expanding mental-health and substance-use treatment, strengthening maternal and reproductive healthcare, and ensuring seniors can age with dignity. Marquita will prioritize adequate staffing, fair treatment for healthcare workers, and stronger healthcare infrastructure in underserved communities.

By focusing on affordability, accessibility, and patient-centered care, Marquita aims to improve health outcomes, strengthen families, and support a healthier, more resilient Tennessee.
